Pedro Pascal: Hollywood's 'daddy' is going viral for this surprising reason, and it's not about his looks

Pedro Pascal rose to fame in the last couple of years, with series such as The Mandalorian and Game of Thrones, and more recently, HBO's adaptation of the popular video game The Last of Us.

'Daddy is a state of mind'

The actor has become an internet sensation, and has been nicknamed by fans as 'Hollywood's daddy'. He addressed his new status in several interviews, always answering humorously or thanking his fans for their continued support over the years.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Pedro Pascal was asked 'Who is a bigger daddy, you or Oscar Isaac?' to which he responded:

I'm a bigger daddy than him, I'm older than him. Although he's a real daddy, he's got kids and I don't. But daddy is a state of mind, you know what I mean?

The phrase 'Daddy is a state of mind' has now become a viral sensation online.

In that same interview, which has now amassed up to 208k views, the actor also reveals how he came into acting. After being fired up to 10 times from working as a waiter, he joined drama school.

In 2020, Pedro Pascal was named as one of People's Magazine Sexiest Men Alive, something he has commented with humour, saying he definitely did not see himself as 'sexy' or even sexier than other actors nominated by the magazine, such as Michael B. Jordan, calling him 'a good-looking dude'.

A Five Guys-filled plane

Most recently, Pedro Pascal has gone viral online for being generous. Indeed, the actor reportedly bought Five Guys food for the entire plane carrying the cast and crew of The Last of Us series. A photograph showing the inside of the plane made its way to Reddit's feel-good Made Me Smile page, where people show something that made them smile recently.

Several fans have praised the actor for his generosity and argued he is apparently a very down-to-earth person, despite his recent rise to fame. Some joked about the employees' possible reaction to seeing Pedro Pascal coming in and ordering hundreds of burgers. One Reddit user wrote:

Can you imagine having a shitty day at your dead end job then f***ing Joel walks in and asks for 200 cheeseburgers

Another user declared his love for the actor:

Idk what it is about him, I just wanna support the dude. He looks like he's a really down-to-earth guy. So so glad he is shining so bright lately.
