Katie Price has five children. Her oldest, Harvey, who she shares with footballer Dwight Yorke, has several health issues. The 22-year-old has been diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, autism, and septo-optic dysplasia, a birth defect that affects the brain and the eyes.

His health has always been at the top of Price's priorities, and she recently revealed that Harvey will start weight loss injections after being diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes several behavioural problems including constant hunger.
Speaking with The Sun, she explained that she consulted medical professionals, and they recommended the weight loss injections to help with Harvey’s weight, as they are concerned he may have a heart attack. According to reports, Harvey currently weighs 28 stone (165kg).
With the spotlight on Harvey's health concerns, curiosity around his current relationship with former step-father Peter Andre has also grown. He recently hinted that he considered Harvey one of his children in an interview with Kate Garraway, but is he still an active part of his life?
Peter Andre corrected Kate Garraway over number of children
Around Christmas 2024, Peter Andre was a guest on Good Morning Britain (GMB). During his appearance, Kate Garraway asked the former singer about his ‘busy Christmas’, as he has five children: Junior and Princess, with Katie Price, and Amelia, Theo, and Arabella, with his current wife, Emily.
However, Peter Andre interrupted Garraway to say that he ‘technically’ has six children, hinting that he considers Harvey as one of his own—even though he did not explicitly take his name.
As reported by Hello!, over the years Andre has not posted about Harvey on his social media but has kept a private relationship with him, despite divorcing Katie Price in 2009. The former singer has been open about his bond with Harvey in the past and once considered adopting him.
When Harvey’s father, Dwight Yorke, hit back at Peter for his comment, the latter responded that he didn’t mean ‘any disrespect’ but simply that he ‘loves that child’.
The bottom line is this. I love that child, alright, and I don’t care what anybody says, I love that child. I see that child.
Katie Price claims Peter Andre’s visits have ‘fizzled out’
In 2017, Peter Andre, who is still in Katie's will, wrote in his column for New! Magazine that Harvey has often been to his house and vice versa. He admitted that Harvey has ‘always been special’ to him.
There have been a few times recently where he's been to my house and I've been to his. Harvey will always be special to me.
Adding that Harvey will always be welcome at his house:
He's just the best, I love him. There's always room for Harvey at our house. I always saw him as my own. There's a special place in my heart for him.
However, Katie Price claimed that over the years, all of Harvey’s male role models have abandoned him, including Peter Andre. She wrote on X:
When you divorce, you have to share the kids. But with Harvey, there’s no one. Well, look, Dwight doesn’t want to know. Someone else doesn’t see him anymore. He’s just got me, you know?
She then explained in her book Katie Price: Harvey and Me that Peter and Harvey’s relationship isn’t the same and that visits from Peter ‘fizzled out’. The alleged change in their relationship really affected Harvey.
She wrote:
I began to notice a change in Harvey. I'd say things like, 'Do you want to go see Daddy Peter today?' and he'd shout, 'No!' So then I'd be like, 'But he has a cake waiting for you.'
But he wasn't interested, and he'd start kicking off. It's probably because the visits were starting to fizzle out and Harvey could sense that.
