Peter Andre recently welcomed his third child with NHS doctor wife Emily MacDonagh and his fifth in total. After much contemplation on their baby girl’s name, the couple decided to name her Arabella. With five kids in the house ranging from the ages of 3 months to 18 years, Peter and Emily have to set clear boundaries for them.

This includes Peter Andre wanting Junior to learn from his mistakes as the 18-year-old tries to make his name in the music industry and Emily’s strict rule that left Princess and Junior ‘horrified’ initially.

Peter Andre’s wife Emily has a strict rule for Princess and Junior

As opposed to a more relaxed parenting, like their mother Katie Price, Princess and Junior experience more controlled parenting at Peter’s home with Emily. Describing how Emily takes care of things at home, Peter said that she has a strict rule which initially left Princess and Junior ‘horrified.’

According to the Mirror, the 34-year-old has a strict ‘no phones at the dinner table’ to promote family bonding and encourage open communication which was strange for Princess and Junior. Peter explained:

At mealtimes, she makes sure we all sit together and talk - no distractions. When we first told Princess and Junior about our new house rules, they were horrified.
But after about a week, they just got it and now they never watch TV or go on their phones while we eat. It's a real bonding opportunity for us. Emily is quite strict about it, but she's right - we were both brought up this way.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, is strict when it comes to his children himself and values ‘quality time’ a lot. Despite having an infant in the house, he manages to spend time with all his children including the oldest.

Princess and Junior Andre open up about their new step-sister, Arabella

In June, Junior and Princess landed their first joint magazine cover with OK! Magazine. In the interview, they revealed what it was like living with an infant in the house. The two have three siblings on their mother’s side and three on their father’s.

Speaking about the newest addition to the sibling group, Princess gushed:

Oh, gosh, I love it. You get so used to peace and quiet – but now there’s a baby in the house, it’s always occupied and it’s always busy and buzzing.

Junior added:

It’s so exciting. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not changing any nappies or anything.

They confirmed baby Arabella has brought some changes in the house but they don't have major responsibilities. Junior explained:

It’s definitely hard for Dad and Emily, but we’re not the parents, so we don’t have that responsibility.
We do help out during the day, but we’ve got bedrooms at the top of the house, so we don’t hear the baby crying in the night.
