Piers Morgan accused of harassment and abuse by stalker

According to the Sun, Piers Morgan was accused of harassing and abusing a woman named Felicity Jane Lowde. The complaint came four months after the presenter interviewed Fiona Harvey, the woman believed to be the inspiration for Netflix's Baby Reindeer stalker, in May 2024.

Felicity Jane Lowde is known for pursuing celebrities, and she has lodged 64 complaints against various celebrities in the past year alone. The woman, who has never met the presenter in person, filed a claim at Central London County Court, accusing Piers Morgan and his production company of 'abuse, harassment, fraud and dishonesty'. She claimed Piers Morgan worked with 'insalubrious associates' to steal her creative work and family history, as well as impersonating her brother. She also claimed the presenter was sexually obsessed with toilets.

In January 2025, Piers Morgan won his case against the convicted stalker, and Felicity Jane Lowde's case against the presenter was thrown out. She has been ordered to pay him £6,000 in damages, but the presenter said he is not expecting to be paid. In his witness statement, Piers Morgan explained:

She is a harasser, a bit like Baby Reindeer’s. This could happen to anyone — whether they’re in the public eye or not — at a huge personal cost.

This is not the first time Lowde has gotten in trouble for harassment.

Felicity Jane Lowde was convicted of stalking a 7/7 victim

In 2007, Felicity Jane Lowde was accused of stalking Rachel North, a woman who survived the 7 July 2005 London bombings, during which terrorists placed a bomb on the Russell Square Piccadilly Line. The attack killed 26 people. Rachel North explained she feared for her safety after receiving hundreds of abusive emails. Felicity Jane Lowde accused the survivor of 'making a living on the backs of the dead'. She sent hundreds of messages to Rachel North, writing, among other things:

You are a warmongering b*tch. No one believes you. People hate you for what you've done. Stop trying to promote yourself and go away Rachel.

She also sent violent threats to the London bombings survivor, causing her post-traumatic stress disorder:

In your wedding picture you look happy to have got away with it. But time is ticking and you'll wind up in jail with the stupid grin wiped off your evil face.

The stalker, who was on the run, was sentenced to six months in prison despite being absent in court, and she received a restraining order, forbidding her from contacting Rachel North.

She was eventually caught and arrested.

Piers Morgan told the Sun:

This is a convicted stalker who harassed a terror-attack survivor. It’s hard to think of anything more despicable.
