Prince Albert and his children
The family of Monaco consists not only of Prince Albert, but also his wife, Princess Charlène, a former South African swimmer, whom he married in 2011. Together they have two children, born in 2014.
In addition to his legitimate children, Prince Albert also has two illegitimate children. In 2006, it became known that he had a son named Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste. His relationship with Alexandre's mother, Nicole Coste, had previously been kept secret.
Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste has big things in mind
Although Prince Albert's illegitimate children have no official place in the line of succession to the throne of Monaco, the prince still maintains a good relationship with them. Branded illegetimate Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste is now aiming high and responds to that title. In an exclusive interview with Tatler, he says :
Neither of my parents were married and neither committed adultery … My father claimed me voluntarily when I was a baby, not because a judge or the press forced him to.
In the interview, Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste also reveals his ambitious goals:
[I aspire to] work in a relationship with my dad and become this – let’s say – global ambassador for Monaco, and to bring business opportunities back to Monaco, which is what I’ve talked about with him.
