Drena De Niro was born in New York on September 3, 1971. She is thedaughter of actress Dianne Abbott, who was married to actor Robert De Niro in the 1970s. The film star adopted little Drena in 1976. She is the eldest of the movie star's seven children.
The young woman grew up in showbiz thanks to her famous parents. Drena De Niro started out as a DJ and model, before working as a consultant for Giorgio Armani. Then, in the 2000s, the now grieving mother embraced a career in film. In2001, she directed a documentary called Girls & Dolls.
