Russell Brand has just released a video (September 16), after he claims he received letters containing some ‘serious allegations’ against him. When Brand was at the height of his career in the 2000s, he was known to be promiscuous, which he himself has admitted and freely talks about.

Russell Brand is facing ‘serious allegations’

In the early hours of September 16, 2023, Russell Brand posted a video on his YouTube and X accounts with the title ‘So, This Is Happening’.

In the video, Brand explains that though he usually likes to discuss the news on his channel, this video is different as he is ‘the news’. He explains that he recently received a letter and an email which contained ‘a litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks'.

He also explained that these letters contain ‘some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute.’ So far, Brand has not disclosed what the allegations against him are, but he does then talks about his ‘very promiscuous’ life he used to lead.

He adds that during that time, he was ‘always transparent’ and all his relationships were ‘absolutely always consensual’. Russell then goes on to question whether or not these allegations have ‘another agenda at play’.
