Soon after the split, the GB News presenter was caught following half-naked women on Instagram. Eventually, Holmes' friends became worried for him as they claimed he was ‘struggling’ with the divorce.

While Holmes addressed the split on GB News, Ruth Langsford hasn’t yet publicly addressed the split. She took a long break from work and only recently returned to her ITV show Loose Women after two months.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford spotted wearing their wedding rings
As she returned to work this week after an extended break from the ITV show following the news of her split in May, she was welcomed with rapturous applause. Many fans were happy to see the fan favourite back on their TV screens and some even noticed that she had her wedding ring still on.
According to Mail Online, this isn’t the first time that Langsford was spotted wearing her ring. Reportedly, the 64-year-old still had her wedding ring on in June while modelling an outfit from her QVC range. The couple were together for over 26 years and share a son Jack, 22, together.
Interestingly, Langsford isn’t the only one with her wedding ring still on. In a recent post on Instagram, Holmes sparked fans’ interest as he posed with GB News presenter Anne Diamond while still wearing his wedding ring.
Holmes temporarily helped Anne Diamond on her morning show during the weekend. Penning down his experience with Anne, he posted a picture with her on his Instagram and wrote:
Called into present extra this morning and what a pleasure it turned out to be with the legend that is Anne Diamond. Great response from you on a lot of the subjects we covered. See you in the morning!
While many praised the duo for their presenting skills, many were also quick to notice he still had his wedding ring on. One said:
He’s still wearing his wedding ring.
Ruth Langsford’s much-awaited return to TV
As mentioned before, Langsford took a long break. She returned this week and insisted that she ‘won’t do it again.’ It was anticipated that Langsford would address the split (as Holmes did) on her show, but her return was a rather low-key affair, reports Huffington Post.
After addressing the day’s topic on the Monday (July 22) show, the only mention of her absence was made when she said:
It’s very nice to be back with you all.
And promised Janet Street-Porter, who recently opened up about her health issues:
I won’t do it again Janet.
This comes after a source had told Mail Online that Langsford was planning to ‘break her silence on the split when she returned to the lunchtime show. They said:
The presenters on Loose Women have a history of opening up about their marriage splits on air and it's a very supportive environment.
Ruth knows the viewers are heavily invested in her breakup so she will be addressing her and Eamonn for the first time on the show…she has no plans to do a big interview, this will be the one and only time she speaks.
