Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes announced back in May that they were going their separate ways after a 27-year relationship and 14 years of marriage. Since the shocking split, Holmes has spoken about it, saying that he’s ‘not okay’ and that it’s ‘not a good time at all’.

However, Langsford has yet to speak publicly about the end of her seemingly happy relationship. According to inside sources, Ruth will soon make a return to TV after a long break. It is believed she will return to ITV’s Loose Women, where she will speak about her divorce for the first time publically. Moreover, it has been said that the former This Morning host is hurt by her ex’s new life.
Ruth Langsford to return to TV
As reported by Daily Mail, Ruth Langsford, 64, is ready to make her return to television after taking a couple months break following her shock split from fellow TV host, Eamonn Holmes, who has allegedly moved on. Indeed, she will be returning to ITV’s Loose Women soon as she feels she ‘owes’ viewers an explanation concerning the end of her relationship.
A source told the tabloid that it will be an emotional time for Langsford, but she will be surrounded by close friends and co-stars who will support her, hopefully, allowing her to move on. The source also adds that many of the Loose Women hosts talk about their divorces, like Linda Robinson, who talked her own divorce, and that it’s a ‘very supportive environment’.
The source told Daily Mail:
Ruth knows the viewers are heavily invested in her breakup so she will be addressing her and Eamonn for the first time on the show.
She will be surrounded by the people she's closest to on the show and then will be drawing a line under it… she has no plans to do a big interview, this will be the one and only time she speaks.
This comes after reports of Ruth Langsford being ‘hurt’ over her ex’s new life, which allegedly includes young women.
Ruth Langsford reportedly ‘hurt’ over Eamonn Holmes’ new life
According to Mirror, Ruth Langsford is in ‘absolute shock’ that Eamonn Holmes has close female friends shortly after their split. The tabloid reported that Holmes has been linked to three different women, including Katie Alexander and Hayley Sparks.
An inside source explained that Langsford is wondering ‘how many more’ women her ex may turn to and she feels as though it is ‘never-ending’. They added:
She's very hurt by it all - it's like he's been living a secret life all this time. She feels let down. Never would she of thought that he could have done this to her and her family.
Amid these claims, Ruth’s friends reportedly have a ‘list of men’ for her to have her ‘revenge romance’. A source told Entertainment Daily:
They feel she could easily have a revenge romance tomorrow if she needs to.
However, it has been said that Langsford is not yet ready to date and it ‘feels like a terrifying other world’ to her.
