The investigation leading to his death has now been completed revealing the reason why the star died. Here’s what happened to him.
S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole’s reason for death
Reportedly, Paul Cattermole died of ‘natural causes’ before the S Club 7’s massive reunion tour. The 46-year-old was found dead in his modest ground-floor flat in Wareham, Dorset on April 6. 2023.
Dorset Coroner’s Service finished the investigation this week as a spokeswoman told The Sun:
I can confirm that Mr Cattermole died from natural causes and our investigations have concluded.
Meaning, no inquest will be held into the singer’s death. Meanwhile, Dorset Police have claimed that their enquiries are still ‘ongoing.’ According to www.health.com, dying of natural causes has no medical definition in particular but it can be simplified and interpreted as ‘nothing acute happened.’

S Club 7’s reunion tour
The S Club 7’s reunion tour is still going on despite Jo O’Meara’s health issues. The band revealed on Sunday that the UK concerts in October will go as planned. Band member Jon Lee said in an Instagram video:
In all honesty, we’ve been in a bit of shock and it’s taken a while for us to find the right words to describe our brother Paul.
Rachel Stevens added:
He’s always going to be with us. We’re just going to keep his memory alive and share it with you.
Bradley McIntosh expressed:
No one could ever replace our Paul. He lives on inside each and every one of us.
Ex-girlfriend and band member Hannah Spearritt had nothing to add. At the time of his death, she said:
He was my first true love. I think it was something that grew from a solid friendship.
Paul never wanted fame and he became increasingly unhappy. I just wanted a little bit more of a faster pace of life and Paul was more of a deep thinker, and probably a lot more philosophical than I am.
