Eloping in Gibraltar
In a post on Instagram, Casillas shared a photo of the two dressed to the nines, smiling at each other with the caption saying:
We eloped! I never dreamt of having a big wedding, so we decided to take a trip to Gibraltar and do it the most intimate way possible, just us. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, @samrobertbird
And added:
We vlogged the whole trip and it’s up on my YouTube channel if you want to see more of our amazing trip!

How did the couple first meet?
According to Casillas, who took to her YouTube channel a couple of years back to discuss how the couple first met, it was thanks to one of her followers that the two got together. She explained that one of her fans messaged her to let her know that Bird had been liking her photos on Instagram which ultimately led her to slide into his DMs. The couple became social media official in January 2020.
In August of that same year, the couple became engaged but held it off for over a year before finally eloping, potentially due to the coronavirus pandemic. On their one year anniversary of being engaged, Casillas gushed on social media:
Happy one year anniversary to this crazy guy. 2020 was tough for everyone, but I’m so happy that it brought me you. From lockdown together, to getting engaged and buying a house. I wouldn’t want to do life with anyone else. Cheers to 1 and so many more to come.
