Sam Thompson’s bucket list wish was achieved and then some more. The reality TV star wanted to appear on the show after claiming that he has been the biggest fan of the jungle adventure. He wanted to survive long enough in the jungle to be in the final four and do celebrity cyclone trial. After achieving both his wishes, Sam was content to go back home but much to his surprise, he ended up winning the show.

Every campmate who left the show took Sam’s name as the winner of the show, including former boxer Tony Bellew - who came second. Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage evidently had some friction with Sam in the jungle yet was convinced that he would end up winning the show.
The MadeInChelsea star won the hearts of millions of viewers sitting at home with his positive attitude. Seeing how much he’s loved and adored by the UK public, it is confirmed that Sam is going to rake in a fortune from his win. A source told The Sun:

Sam will easily bank a million in the next year thanks to the jungle.
Hinting that Sam is going to be very busy in his career after his jungle stint, the source added:

There has also been a flurry of big- money deals thrown his way.
He has always been popular among younger people thanks to his reality TV past, but now he’s known and loved by millions.
After winning the show, Sam was greeted by his best friend Pete Wicks as his girlfriend Zara McDermott was unable to fly to Australia due to work commitments.
