Shakira releases alleged diss track after being shattered by Gerard Piqué video

Gerard Piqué and Shakira were perhaps football’s most A-list celebrity couples. Despite being together for about 11 years, the couple called it quits last June, with reasons unknown at the time.

But soon, rumors and allegations against Piqué started pouring in, with regard to his alleged infidelity in his marriage. And now, an old video interview of Piqué has been doing its rounds on the internet where you can see his current girlfriend in the background, present in the house Piqué and Shakira shared with their children. Here are all the details about this video.

Gerard Piqué caught in the act

A source claims that this interview, in which you see Piqué's girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, took place when Piqué and the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer were still very much together. The couple didn’t officially split up until earlier last year, but the interview took place in August 2021. It is rumored that Shakira and the kids were traveling at the time the interview happened.

Shakira’s reaction to the video

A source told Page Six that Shakira is 'devastated to learn that this woman clearly felt at home in the house they shared with their children.' They added:

They were very much still together at that time. It’s devastating for her to learn that this affair had been going on for a lot longer than she imagined.

Shakira has now allegedly taken a jab at Piqué and his infidelity in the lyrics of her newly released song 'Bzrp Music Sessions 53'. She sings:

I'm too big for you, that's why you're with someone just like you.

This is for me to mortify you, chew and swallow so it doesn't sting, I won't return to you any more even if you cry or beg me.

I understood that it's not my fault that they criticize you, I only make music, sorry that I splashed you.

Who is Clara Chia Marti?

Clara reportedlyworks for Piqué's movie and television production company Kosmos, handling special events. Piqué is the company's founder, CEO, president, and chairman of the board of directors. It is believed she is studying public relations and living in Barcelona.

Clara has one younger sister and is reportedly from a wealthy family. Her father is a civil lawyer and FC Barcelona fan, the team which Piqué used to play for. Her family owns an apartment in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, which is one of the richest neighbourhoods in Barcelona.
