Shakira: Source reveals what singer allegedly thinks about rumours she's dating Tom Cruise

This week, Internet users wondered if something was going on, after seeing Tom Cruise and Shakira very close to each other during the Miami Grand Prix. Although it was only unfounded rumours at first, it seems that the situation has evolved on the 60-year-old actor's part, as a source close to him confided to Page Six.

However, even though many fans are convinced the Mission Impossible actor has got a crush on the Hips Don't Lie singer, it seems she does not feel the same way. US Weekly reveals she thinks the rumours are 'hilarious', and that she has 'no interest' in dating him. An anonymous source, supposedly close to Shakira, said she is focusing on her children at the moment:

He was really nice and she enjoyed his company, but she isn’t focused on dating him or anybody else at the moment. She has a lot on her plate and is focused on her kids and career for now.

Tom Cruise is said to be 'extremely interested' in Shakira

Shakira is apparently not done surprising her fans! After multiple tackles, some of them in music, aimed at her ex Gerard Piqué, it seems that Shakira could be back on the dating scene. Since her separation from the father of her children in June 2022, the 46-year-old singer had not been seen with another man. That was the case until this week, when some paparazzi captured a moment between her and Tom Cruise, where the pair seemed close.

The Mission Impossible actor has been married and divorced three times, but he does not seem to have given up on love. On the contrary, as a source allegedly close to him told PageSix that he was 'extremely interested' in Shakira:

There is chemistry (...) Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom.

The source also praised Cruise's charms, before cracking a joke about his height:

He's a nice-looking guy, and he is talented. And she isn’t taller than him.

However, it seems they might have forgotten to ask Shakira for her opinion, as a source supposedly close to her told US Weekly she does not feel the same way:

Shakira has seen the online rumors that Tom has been courting her — and how fans are chiming in with their opinions — but she thinks it’s hilarious because it’s just not true,

She had a fun time when they chatted, but that’s as far as things have gone.

Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, and now Shakira?

Would Shakira do well to think twice before granting her trust again? The question arises among her fans, since Cruise's exes do not seem to have a positive memory of their relationship. It must be said that his link to the Church of Scientology has often been a problem.

The organisation was against his relationship with Nicole Kidman, whose father was a psychoanalyst, a profession the Church does not recognise. According to relatives of the actress, who plunged into depression after their separation, the Church is said to have conducted an 'aggressive campaign' to make them divorce.

Katie Holmes also criticised the Top Gun actor for his (too) strong commitment to Scientology, which she says is the reason she left him. She also said she wanted to protect their daughter, Suri, for whom she obtained sole custody.
