An impressive career
Shannon Wilcox spent her childhood in Indiana before moving to Paris to pursue a career as a dancer. She then flew to Los Angeles to embark on an acting career, and luck seemed to smile on her, as she passed numerous castings.
She then began her acting career with a TV role. In 1976, she played a policewoman in an episode of Starsky & Hutch. She went on to enjoy success with roles in Tony Bill's Six Weeks, Karate Kid, Seven and Gary Marshall's Frankie and Johnny, in which she co-starred with the iconic Al Pacino. The film marked a fine collaboration between the actress and the director, who went on to cast her in a number of his films: Dear God, Just Married (or Almost) and the Princess Diaries.
In addition to a successful film career, Shannon Wilcox has continued to make numerous appearances on television. She appeared in several episodes of Dallas, NCIS: Los Angeles, Grey's Anatomy and Magnum PI.

Shannon Wilcox was first married, from 1964 to 1984, to plastic surgeon John Williams. She then married actor Alex Rocco, who played Moe Greene in The Godfather. Their love lasted ten years, from 2005 to 2015, the year of the actor's death. Shannon Wilcox is survived by daughter Kelli Williams, who starred in Lie to Me, and by a son Sean Doyle and three grandchildren.
