Shivon Zilis reveals name of 13th child and reveals fourth child
There has always been mystery surrounding the births of Elon Musk's children. Indeed, some of them seem to overlap with different baby mothers, and others are kept a total secret for years. On Friday 28 February 2025, Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis, who happens to work for one of Elon Musk's companies as well as being the mother to some of his kids, opened up on the billionaire's platform X. So far, we knew the couple had welcomed three children together. They first had twins, Strider and Azure Musk, through IVF in 2021. The couple had already done a great job at keeping the births under the radar for months, before finally announcing the news.
In June 2024, and while he had welcomed another child via surrogacy with singer Grimes, the couple announced they had welcomed another baby, whose name remained a mystery, until now. Indeed, Bloomberg revealed the couple had a third baby in January 2024, and it has been confirmed by the Neuralink executive.
On X, Shivon Zilis revealed the couple had welcomed a fourth child together, and she finally revealed the name of their third offspring, Arcadia. She wrote:
Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia's birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much ❤️
Musk simply responded with a red heart emoji, and neither of them addressed the rumours of a 14th child with MAGA influencer Ashley St Clair.
Inside Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis' mysterious relationship
Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis' relationship is not easily described. It is rather impossible to put a date on the beginning and the ending of their relationship, and whether they had a romantic relationship at all. The billionaire is on a mission, as he is convinced people need to make more babies to save the world. He is certainly doing his part. Discussing the claims that the births of his children were concealed, he explained:
As for 'secretly fathered', that is … false. All our friends and family know. Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean 'secret'.
A close female friend of Elon Musk reportedly told the Daily Mail:
He will keep fathering children for as long as he can and he's only 53 so technically he could keep going for another 30 years. He sees it as his mission to repopulate the earth, single-handedly if necessary.
