Simon Cowell’s ‘eye-watering’ net worth
The BGT judge - who looks unrecognisable in a new promo - is estimated to be worth a staggering $600 million or around £496 million, reported Hello Magazine. Most of his wealth comes from being a judge on numerous talent shows.
The star also makes millions from his music label Syco Entertainment which has celebs like Camilla Cabello, James Arthur, Olly Murs and Louis Tomlinson in their books. Simon’s music label Syco has sold more than 200 million albums worldwide since 2003.
The A-lister is understood to earn somewhere between $50 million and $100 million a year from both his on and off-camera work.
Apart from this, the savvy millionaire has invested plenty in the property market as well. He owns a $24 million Malibu beach house that has a swimming pool, spa and private tennis court and a $25 million mansion in Beverly Hills in the US. Simon Cowell's salary on BGT
Britain’s Got Talent’s judging panel includes OGs Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden and the new former Strictly Come Dancing star, Bruno Tonioli. According to Hello Magazine, Simon reportedly earns over £1.5 million per episode for just doing BGT, making him the highest-paid judge on the panel.
Meanwhile, stars like Alesha and Amanda are said to be paid a six-figure sum of £850,000 for appearing on the show. After Bruno Tonioli joined the show as a judge, there was a little conflict that arose between the show bosses and the female judges.
It is understood that Alesha and Amanda - who have been a judge for longer than Bruno - were upset that he was offered the same salary as them in his first season. However, it was later reported that Bruno’s compensation has been lowered down, yet the exact amount hasn’t been revealed yet.
Meanwhile, show hosts Ant and Dec are getting millions for their 3-year-long contract with ITV that has them hosting multiple shows including Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celeb. They are paid £40 million combined for all the shows that they do for ITV and work exclusively for them.
