It all began when he was young! When the actor who played Neo in The Matrix, was only three years old, his dad left, leaving his mom to raise Keanu alone. As a result, Reeves and his mom moved a lot. He attended four high schools, but never finished his diploma.
When he was 17, the Hollywood star dropped out of school. He struggled with dyslexia which didn’t help the learning process. But thankfully, he got into acting. Eventually, he met River Phoenix (ever heard of him? Most famous movie: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) on the set of I Love You to Death. And a bromance was born.
But River Phoenix died from a drug overdose when he was only 23 years old. Keanu lost his best friend. Five years later, Keanu met the love of his life, Jennifer Syme.
