Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey are one coupling who have defied the odds. Despite a brief split in 2017 after winning the 2016 series, four years on they are happily married.
Already proud parents to two-year-old Freddie-George, Cara and Nathan have now announced that they have another bundle of joy on the way with an adorable Instagram post.
Sharing a pic of Nathan kissing Cara's belly with Freddie-George on his shoulders, Cara wrote: 'We are so excited to let you know our very nappy news in the latest @new_magazine Buy the magazine to read the full story #newarrival #babynews #readallaboutit newmagazine'
Whilst the pressure of becoming parents can put a strain on some couples, Nathan and Cara say it's brought them closer together. Nathan previously said: 'Since we’ve had Fred, I don’t think we’ve argued once – we get on so well now. Having Fred completely changed our relationship for the better.'
How many Love Island babies are there?
Cara and Nathan's new arrival will be the fourth baby of a couple who met on Love Island. Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison welcomed daughter Vienna in 2017 and Dom Shears and Jess Lever had a baby boy in October 2019. Other Islanders including Jack Fincham and Jess Hayes have also become parents since their time in the villa, although not with partners they met on the show.
