There were smiles all round as Gal Gadot made a surprise appearance at a children's hospital in Virginia, USA this week, dressed in her full Wonder Woman outfit.

Gal Gadot is in the midst of filming the sequel to 2017's hugely successful Wonder Woman film - Wonder Woman 1984, which is set to be released in November 2019. However, she took time out of her busy schedule to drop in on a children's hospital to bring some joy to some very brave children and their families as well as the staff who work tirelessly to care for them every day.
Gal is pictured holding a baby who is a patient at the hospital as well as speaking to a young girl in her hospital bed. She also appears in a group photo with the doctors and nurses who work at the hospital, who looked equally excited by the star's visit.
One member of staff - a self-described superfan - was gutted to have missed Wonder Woman's visit as she was out on call but still tweeted a message of hearty thanks to the star. Maybe Gal will stop by again some day!
