Football legend
Reportedly, the football star nicknamed - The Beast – is in talks with the producers to be on the show. Mirror reports Adebayo Akinfenwa is thinking about participating in the beloved ITV programme. No celebrities have been finalised for the series as of now and everything is merely speculation at this point.
Former Wycombe Wanderers striker Akinfenwa will undoubtedly be confident of going into the Bushtucker Trials if he decides to join. A source confirmed:
Ade is in the frame and would be keen on appearing.
He was a hardman on the pitch but is a gent off it.
He’s also charismatic and funny and knows loads of people in the game.
The 40-year-old has previously played for AFC Wimbledon, Swansea City, and Millwall. Usually, the official line-up of the contestants isn't revealed until much closer to the release date. However, many rumoured celebrities have turned out to be accurate.
Stars spin-off
Despite the usual series, I’m A Celebrity All-Stars is also going to film in South Africa this summer. Many former contestants have been rumoured to be a part of the All-Stars edition. Carol Vorderman and Paul Burrell, two former campmates, are reportedly participating in the spin-off programme that will bring together stars from previous episodes. While the show will be filmed this year, it won’t be broadcast until next year.
