Lots of actresses have said that they won’t be completely naked on camera. Pretending to have a sexual relationship with a stranger in front of dozens of people isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Imagine if you were in their position, especially if you can only just bear to have the lights on when with your other half… That’s why some actresses categorically refuse to be naked on screen.

Emilia Clarke
After being in the successful series Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke never wants to have her intimate areas on the big screen again. Every comment and reaction surrounding her naked scenes during the series has put her off. She even went as far as to turn down the role of Anastasia Steel in 50 Shades of Grey. During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, she explained.
‘The last time that I was naked on camera was a long time ago, and yet it is the only question that I ever get asked because I am a woman.’
Not too long ago, the former Mother of Dragons went on a rant about her naked scenes in Game of Thrones. She had some quite strong opinions about the subject and didn’t hold back.
Mila Kunis
The beautiful brunette doesn’t like showing off her body unless she’s with her sweetheart, Ashton Kutcher. She asks for a double when her characters have to get freaky with other characters on screen. In Friends with Benefits, the actress showed her side boob, but refused to show anything else. During an event in London in 2015, she declared: ‘I showed side boob. I don’t need to show ass. You get one or the other. You don’t get both.’
Megan Fox
If there was ever a woman who guys love seeing in hardly any clothing, it’s Megan Fox. With her dream figure, she has well and truly captured the hearts of lots of guys. However, the beautiful brunette refuses to do sex scenes. On MTV, she declared: ‘I can’t ever imagine myself doing nudity in a film. […] Literally all I have left are my private parts, and I don’t want to also share them with the world.’ Since she recently became a mother, her choice is even more important for her. In her opinion, her kids wouldn’t be able to stand seeing her naked with anyone other than their father. A way for her to protect her children, how nice.
Jessica Alba
When she started out in the world of cinema, Jessica Alba said outright that she wouldn’t be naked on screen and she stuck to that! The actress has agreed to wear little, sexy outfits, but has never been completely naked. During an interview with Glamour US, she explained.
‘I don’t want my grandparents to see my boobs! That’s it. It would be weird at Christmas. And I mean, really, if you look at the movies I have done, getting naked would never ‘elevate’ the picture.’
Thanks to technological advances, actresses can easily say no to taking their clothes off. It’s quite simple to ‘stick’ a celebrity’s head on the body of a double. For example, in Game of Thrones, Cersei’s body during her walk of shame wasn’t actually hers – she has tattoos that wouldn’t have suited her character. Soon, you won’t have to get naked to make it into Hollywood, what a cliché!
