However, recent photos have caused rumours of a reunion between the 44-year-old former glamour model and her on-again-off-again partner Carl Woods, 34.
Engagement ring sparks reunion rumours
On her Instagram, Katie Priceflaunted what seemed to be an engagement ring while sipping white wine. This caused rumours of a reunion between the 44-year-old former glamour model and her on-again-off-again partner Carl Woods, 34.
In the picture, Price showed off the massive diamond on her ring finger while holding a full wine glass between her heavily tattooed leg and foot.
The picture was taken days after she was seen arriving for her community service at her ex-fiancé's £100,000 Hummer. Previously, the former glamour model was found guilty of breaching a restraining order by sending 'vile and nasty' messages to her ex-husband's fiancée, for which she was ordered to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work and pay £1,500 in costs.
They initially broke up in November 2022 when the car dealer accused Price of cheating on him. Despite denying that they were back together, Price and Woods were regularly seen together in public.
Before the ring reveal, her son Harvey sent her a picture on Instagram, confirming whispers of a rekindled romance between the pair. The picture showed Price and Harvey sharing a sweet moment, and Harvey wrote:
Mummy and Carl Woods best family ever. To Mummy you the best beautiful Mummy. Happy Easter love you Mummy a lot. Love from Harvey.
How did the couple meet?
According to The Mirror, Price and Woods began dating in 2020 after being connected through a mutual friend. Before meeting her, Woods was a fan of Price during her modelling era as Jordan, and stated that he used to have posters of her in his room.
The following month, the couple officially announced on Instagram that they were together, with Price adding a caption that read 'Found my perfect prince finally @carlJwoods.'
Becoming serious
Four months later, the couple got tattoos of each other on their arms, which cemented the commitment of the relationship in front of the public even further. Referring to the new tattoos in a YouTube video, Katie said 'can you believe that? That is us, sitting there.'
Carl then added:
Mine is bigger than yours... I might get the hair done in colour. Now we've got matching cars, matching plates... and matching tattoos.
After ten months of maintaining the relationship, in 2021, Price officially announced that Woods proposed to her. The Mirror reports that Woods reportedly bought the ring for £50,000.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain the next day, Price said:
I know so many people out there are like, ‘Oh yeah, we’ve heard this before. Yeah, because I’ve rushed into things so much, made wrong choices but my head wasn’t right. My head is so right now, I’m a different person.
Trouble in paradise
Price and Wood's relationship was seemingly perfect, but as time went on, cracks started appearing on the window that gave the public a view into their relationship. The Mirror further reports that Price was attacked in her home in 2021. Though the attacker wasn't named by Price, Woods' Instagram followers questioned him on whether he was involved.
The following year, Woods was supposedly showcasing abusive or threatening behaviour, and he was charged under section 4 of the Public Order Act. Woods subsequently pleaded not guilty and the case was dropped due to lack of evidence.
Woods once again appeared in court the same year and for supposedly using threatening language with Price. He was then allowed unconditional bail and the case was adjourned, before eventually being dropped.
The prosecutor Leigh Hart at the time said:
whereby the defendant got into an argument with his partner at his home address. The partner left his address and went to another property.
She added:
[Woods] followed his partner and attempted to force the door of that property whilst shouting outside in the street.
Price was then seen denying that she was still together with Woods when a fan asked about the subject on TikTok, and later corrected herself stating that her account was hacked, emphasizing that they're still together, reports The Sun. At this point, the media and public were rife with rumours about a possible split.
Announcement of the end
Three months after the supposed hacking of her account, Woods posted a video on Instagram stating that the couple had officially split. He revealed that Price admitted to cheating, which prompted him to end the relationship with her, reports The Mirror.
He added:
So yeah, that's the end of that. I guess I'm just gonna focus on rebuilding myself and get my life back on track. And concentrating on me but that's done.
Price hasn't addressed these claims, and was seen to be uploading a snap of herself with her son Harvey with the caption 'Morning cuddles with my @officialmrharveyprice.'
