Snakes and liars
The 24-year-old reality TV star recently did a small Q & A on her Instagram stories for her followers to get to know her better. Amongst the many questions that she received, a new Love Islander who is also supposed to be on the show asked her for advice. The person wrote:
I will be going on LI this year and need some advice. Sent you a DM but doesn’t go through x.
Amber was quick to respond to the question and gave quite a cryptic response. She wrote on her story:
Be yourself. Do what you want to do. Fuck thinking or caring about what anyone thinks about you and know yourself truly.
It only gets techy once you get out & you have to deal with a bunch of liars and snakes in the grass. LOOK AFTER YOURSELF.
Amber is often jokingly addressed as the first solo winner of the show and the advice she imparted to the soon-to-be Love Islander comes from her own experience of leaving the villa and returning to a regular life away from the cameras. Additionally, the advice doesn’t end here. This is what was posted online publicly, she also urged the person to message her privately for more details.
Love Island experience
In a recent interview with HELLO! magazine, Amber admitted to having a positive Love Island experience. However, the winner did confess to creating boundaries after the show so that it doesn’t affect her mental health. She told HELLO!:
As time went on, it started to get a bit nasty and that's when I realised I should have set times when I go on my phone and set times when I don't – and make sure that I don't stay scrolling or looking at what people are saying.
Everybody's going to find an issue with something you do. So, I would allocate separate times when I would stay on my phone and when I don't.
