Tom Hanks, 65, is a beloved actor. He has been married to his wife, Rita Wilson, 65, for 30 years now. The couple was leaving their hotel, according to reports, when fans surrounded them.

Stormed by fans
As the couple left the hotel to head to their car, a group of fans surrounded them trying to take selfies with Tom Hanks according to SkyNews. The video footage shows Hanks and his wife smiling at the fans and waving.
Soon things go south as fans seem to not care about the couple’s personal space. Several of them get up close to Tom Hanks trying to get autographs and selfies. Then his wife lets out a small yelp as she trips over.
‘Back the f**k off’
After hearing his wife yelp, Hanks then stops and looks angrily at his fans after they bumped into her and says:
My wife?
Back the f**k off
Whilst holding out his arm so his wife can walk safely to the car. Once his wife makes it to the car, Hanks stares down his fans and then says:
Knocking over my wife?
Hanks then proceeds to enter his car while his fans look shocked.

The incident was then posted on Twitter, where fans praised Hanks for his reaction. Many tweeted to remind others that celebrities are also people and deserve personal space, one person tweeted:
The fans need to respect a person’s personal space. Learn some manners!

Tom Hanks was in the right. Celebrities are just people. No one, famous or not, deserves to be trampled because you’re trying to get to an “idol” - this is an exceptionally human response that I fully support.
