Treat William dies at 71 years of age

The world was shaken by the news of Treat William’s death earlier this week. Unfortunately, Treat died after being involved in a bike accident. As per People, his agent of 15 years Barry McPherson said:

He was killed this afternoon. He was making a left or a right [and] a car cut him off. I'm just devastated. He was the nicest guy. He was so talented.
He was an actor's actor. Filmmakers loved him. He's been the heart of Hollywood since the late 1970s. He was really proud of his performance this year. He's been so happy with the work that I got him. He's had a balanced career.

The crash allegedly took place at 5 p.m. in Vermont. And Williams is rumoured to be the only one who got hurt in the incident. Despite employing a LiftNet helicopter to airlift him to a medical facility in New York, the Hollywood star didn’t make it. The investigation is said to still be in its early stages and the crime scene will continue being processed till everything is completely ruled out.

Treat William’s wife - Pamela Van Sant

Treat is survived by his wife Pam, who resides with him in Vermont, in a beautiful and expansive farmhouse.

Pam Van Sant and Treat Williams got married in 1988, and ever since then, she has been accompanying him to red carpets and public events. William even referred to her as his ‘girl for life’, on a Women’s Day post on Instagram, and seemed to have a pretty fulfilling 35-year marriage. The couple seemed extremely happy together, often posting social media pictures honouring each other even to date, till the untimely accident.

Van Sant is also an actor and producer, and the couple have two children together - Gill and Ellie. Besides their biological children, the couple are also paw-parents, with two pups that they seemed to adore. All in all, the couple seemed to enjoy a great family life.

A look at Treat Williams’ kids

Both the Williams kids are 90s kids, with Gill born in 1992, and Ellie in 1998. Being brought up around sets, and red carpets, the children seemed to be inclined to follow the same route. Gill tried his hand at acting but decided to settle down as a beatbox artist. He is also quite vocal about social issues, as per People.

Ellie, who lives in LA, currently, is a university graduate. She recently shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, after losing her father, it said:

Thank you to everyone who has sent messages and kept our family in your hearts during this terrible heartbreak. We're home, Dad.

This post is a tribute fit for her father, as he has previously spoken about how he absolutely loves Vermont, and his life there. And does not even once wish he was anywhere else.
