With his upcoming return to the White House, his every move is being watched with utmost precision, and in both his political and personal life. In fact, now many videos and photos of him are going viral on the internet. His wife and son have not been spared either.

Unsurprisingly, he is going viral once again and this time because of his hair.

Does Donald Trump actually have a new hairstyle?

On 17 December 2024, Donald Trump appeared in a new video made by a fan. The video was taken at the Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach. The president-elect can be seen walking around his Florida golf club, holding on to his infamous MAGA red cap. Although the video does not seem particular, one detail caught his fans' attention.

Indeed, Donald Trump appears to be rocking a new hairstyle, as his blond hair is swept back from his face. The video was reposted by Daily Loud, who captioned it 'Donald Trump reveals his new haircut', and it has gotten 9.7 million views so far.

Many MAGA followers believe chopped off his prized locks, but the reality may not be as drastic.

The president-elect is often seen wearing a cap, and he looks like he has just taken it off before the video, which probably explains why his hair looks like that. The Florida heat is also to blame, as sweat acts as a great way to hold hair back.

Some netizens took great pleasure in mocking Donald Trump's hair, saying 'he looks like a grandma', or comparing him to the infamous villain Biff in Back to the Future. Others claimed they would be rushing to the salon to get the same hairstyle. One comment reads:

I'm getting my hair did tomorrow and will be asking for the Trump 2025 look.

The president-elect spends thousands on his hair

Indeed, it is unlikely that Trump has cut his hair, especially given how much money he is said to spend on keeping it practically unchanged over the years.

Back in 2020, the New York Times did a little digging in the president's finances, and the newspaper revealed some surprising facts. Indeed, the president-elect is said to have spent about $70,000 on his haircare while he was working on The Apprentice. His daughter Ivanka is also said to have spent about $95,000 on her hair. In 2014, Donald Trump claimed he does not let anyone touch his hair other than his wife Melania. Tommy Buckett, a stylist at New York's tony Serge Normant salon, told the New York Times:

I don’t know how it could possibly cost that much.
Unless he has a stylist who is charging him an insane amount and then laughing all the way to the bank. Trump is the sort of client, too, who probably thinks just because he's spending a lot of money for something that means it's good. But you can't buy taste.
