From podcast hosts and painters to retired stars and controversial figures, their post-Brady journeys have been as dramatic, colourful, and nostalgic as the show itself. So, where are the original Brady Bunch children today?

Barry Williams (Greg Brady)

After his turn as the eldest Brady sibling, Barry Williams ventured into musical theatre with roles in Grease, The Sound of Music, Pippin, and West Side Story. Like many big stars, he also published an autobiography, Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg, which was adapted into a TV movie.

He’s remained active in television, appearing on The Masked Singer and Dancing with the Stars. He now co-hosts The Real Brady Bros podcast with Christopher Knight, where the pair regularly revisit life on set.

As for his private life, the now 69-year-old has been married to Tina Mahina since 2017. He was previously married to Diana Martin for two years, and shares a son with his second wife 1999. After they split, he started a romance with ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Kennedy and had a daughter with her in 2012.

Christopher Knight (Peter Brady)

Christopher Knight, now 66, had a varied career after The Brady Bunch. He took on roles in Happy Days, The Bold and the Beautiful, and reality series The Surreal Life, where he met and married model Adrianne Curry in 2006. They divorced in 2013.

Like his on-screen brother Christopher Knight has had his fair share of romances and failed marriages, before ending up with his current wife Cara Kokenes. Before Curry, he was married to Julie Schulman and Toni Erickson.

He now co-hosts a nostalgic podcast with Williams.

On the podcast, Knight recalled the on-set snack dilemmas. He said:

You as a little kid who’s been doing something prior to sitting down to act out this scene, are now thirsty.
If you grab that milk and chug half the glass, you're committed to now chugging half that glass anytime the camera's on you from that point forward.
You're going to have to drink that glass of milk. But it was real milk, and the cookies were real.

Eve Plumb (Jan Brady)

Eve Plumb portrayed Jan, the often-overlooked middle Brady sister. She moved on to more dramatic roles in Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runawayand its sequel, along with guest spots in shows like The Love Boat, Wonder Woman, and Murder, She Wrote.

Now at 66, Plumb certainly has a different life. She has spent more than two decades as a professional painter. She lives in Laguna Beach with her husband Ken Pace, whom she married in 1995.

Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady)

Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia, parlayed her Brady success into roles on Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, Teen Angel, and soap opera Passions. She also acted on stage, taking on roles like Wendy in Peter Pan and Betty Rizzo in Grease.

Off-screen, she battled addiction and depression but found stability with her husband, Michael Cummings. They married in 1985 and had a daughter in 1989. McCormick, now 67, also appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

Mike Lookinland (Bobby Brady)

Mike Lookinland played Bobby, the youngest Brady brother. He didn’t continue acting much beyond the Brady specials. Struggling with alcoholism in his youth, he eventually turned things around and now leads a quieter life.

Lookinland, now 62, has been married to his high school sweetheart Kelly Wermuth since 1987. They have two sons and live a low-key life. These days, he makes concrete countertops and has left acting behind. He said about his decision to leave acting, as quoted by People:

From the age of 8, I learned that nothing in the entertainment industry is real.
It's all fake. Your face, your clothes, what you say — it's all a fake. I think I was drawn to something more real that I could do myself.

Susan Olsen (Cindy Brady)

Susan Olsen had one of the most recognisable faces on The Brady Bunch, playing the youngest daughter, Cindy. She continued acting in spin-offs like The Brady Bunch Hour, The Brady Brides, and The Bradys. However, breaking free from her Cindy image proved difficult.

She once told People:

I’d get an audition to play a tough street person or a drug addict.

And the response was always:

We can’t hire Cindy to play that role.

Olsen also worked as a radio host on LA Talk Radio’s Two Chicks Talkin’ Politics. In 2016, she was fired after launching a homophobic tirade against actor Leon Acord-Whiting. The incident was widely covered by People and the Daily Mail.

In 2024, Olsen claimed that a Brady Bunch revival was cancelled due to her political views. Speaking on the WalkAway Campaign podcast, she said:

I did have a phone call with my [TV] siblings and my agent.
Everybody was saying, 'We're sorry, but they just won’t budge. They just will not have you in this.' I'm like, Wow, I've been canceled.
A role that I’ve played for over 50 years, I can't play it now because I'm too dangerous. I was like, 'Well, okay guys, good luck, I hope you can sell it.'

According to People, she alleged the show would have seen Cindy as a libertarian podcaster and Jan raising a transgender child. CBS Studios reportedly compiled ‘50 pages’ of statements from Olsen’s social media. She said:

Those 50 pages were like my greatest hits. I stand by everything I said I don't just say things.

Now 63, Olsen lives in Southern California, teaches acting at Vibe Performing Arts Center.

Latest reunion of The Brady Bunch

In late 2024, three of the Brady kids—Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, and Eve Plumb—reunited on NBC’s Today show to reflect on the iconic series. As reported by the New York Post, one topic that caused a stir was the disappearance of the family dog, Tiger. Host Carson Daly brought up the mystery, which the cast admitted even they couldn’t explain.

Knight, now 67, said:

Watching the early shows with Tiger, Tiger’s an important element, you’re right.

Barry Williams, 70, chimed in:

Continuity was not one of the strong points of our show. And so one day he’s there, one day he’s not there.

Plumb also noted the disappearance of Fluffy, the girls’ cat from the pilot episode. She quipped that family pets in the Brady household ‘just sort of faded away.’

The trio appeared on the show to promote ‘The Brady Experience,’ a sweepstakes where fans could brunch with the cast at the recreated Brady house in LA. Art collector Tina Trahan, who bought the house from HGTV, described it as a ‘life-sized dollhouse.’ She added:

You walk into your childhood when you walk into that house.
