Barron Trump's unique university life

Indeed, the university experience not only involves rigorous studying, but creating social connections of all kinds—personal, professional, romantic...you name it. In 2020, the University of Luxembourg conducted a study on the question of how important social contacts are for young people. A brief summary of the results can be found on their website:

These are important contacts, especially for teenagers and young adults who are just developing their personality. They help them in their development, can have a stabilizing effect and have a strong influence on their well-being and health.

Turns out that with Barron living in his father's towering building, he could be missing out on a key aspect of university life. His classmates have already commented on the fact that he is barely around. But why did the young Trump choose to live off-campus?

Barron Trump lives in the family's Manhattan home

Given the fact that his father will soon be President of the USA again, it is understandable that he prefers to stay within the protection and safety of the Trump towers. Sources have also alleged that it is Melania who feels that staying in their family home is the best course of action for the 18-year-old.

A 'political source' reportedly told People:

She will do everything she can to make sure Barron does well in school and is socially and mentally adjusted to his life as a college student.
Life in a dorm is not in the cards for him at the moment.

Moreover, the source alleges that despite Barron making the decision to stay in New York, Melania still wants be around her son 'as much as possible'.

Whether or not others think he is capable of being on his own, Melania feels it's better to be around him as much as possible.
I see that continuing.

That being said, Melania will definitely have her hands full come January when her husband takes over the Oval Office.

Donald Trump recently confirmed that she would be moving into the White House with him, hushing rumours that she will not be an active First Lady. However, it seems apparent that she will most definitely be splitting her time between being a mother to her son, and a FLOTUS. The same political source told People:

Barron is in school all day, so she has plenty of time for official jobs as well as being there for her son when he needs her.
