Winter Love Island’s Casey and Rosie allegedly hid their real relationship status during reunion special

Love Island fans were really bumped to see Casey shift from Claudia to Rosie and were convinced the two are not a good match together. Well, they’ve been proven right as Casey has now confirmed that he’s just ‘friends’ with Rosie.

Casey and Rosie part ways

Casey came out of the villa with a ‘being single’ mindset, reported The Sun. People close to him confirmed that he boasted at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire that he was single.

The 26-year-old confirmed the news of his split on his Instagram during a Q&A. A follower asked him ‘How are things with you and Rosie?’ and the former Love Island star didn’t hold back in giving people the news. He replied:

Rosie and I have spoken...she's such a great girl.

Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward!

This comes after he allegedly hid his split before the reunion and claimed:

All is good. We flew back together, as well as Will and Jessie.

But we're both just spending time with families at the moment

Casey and Love Island fans knew the truth all along

Fans had speculated their split long before Casey made it official. After seeing no chemistry between the couple on Aftersun and no mention of each other on social media, Love Island fans knew something was not right. One wrote:

Pretty certain Rosie and Casey haven’t spoken to each other all week and are just forced to fake it for the camera.

Another two added:

Casey and Rosie = fake.

Sorry but Casey looks so bored with Rosie on AfterSun. He could at least fake it.

Meanwhile, a source close to Casey previously made it clear that Casey has no connection with Rosie. The source said:

Casey said he was not officially in a couple with Rosie and that he was single.

There doesn’t appear to be a deep connection between Casey and Rosie and although they were a couple when they were in the villa – being on the outside has made them realise they’re not right for each other.
