Zara McDermott hospitalised days before Christmas
Hoping that the two would spend a nice and warm Christmas together after the end of their respective reality shows, fans were excited to see their updates. However, there has been a little change of plans as Zara revealed she has undergone surgery recently. Taking a selfie from her hospital bed, Zara updated her followers about her health.
Wearing a candy cane patterned pyjamas, she managed to smile for the photo with a hospital band on her wrist and an IV drip along it, reported Mirror. Looking relaxed she wrote:
Had a little procedure done yesterday! Now ready for a super chilled Xmas
The star didn’t elaborate on what procedure she got done. Meanwhile, Sam posted a picture of the two from the hospital bed and wrote:
My tiny goose🥹recovering after a little op ❤❤❤❤
This comes as Zara later revealed her usual Christmas plans. During a Q&A on Instagram, a follower asked her if she had any Christmas traditions. Sharing a picture of herself and her brother, Zara confirmed that she usually spends Christmas with her family. She shared:
I always spend Christmas Day at home with the family for Christmas dinner. Me and my brother wake up in the morning and open our pressies on the floor in the living room, then dad usually makes us some breakfast and we all start prepping for the rest of the family to come over.
She added:
Then we play games and slob out after eating too much. It’s always been the same since I can remember and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Christmas Day is one of the most special days of the year for me because I love spending it with my family so much.
