They quickly gained popularity, and Trump thought it would be a good idea to release a new edition of the cards.

The move comes after his strategy of making personal remarks about Kamala Harris was questioned by his own party members and after his strange interaction on stage where he made a bold confession.

Donald Trump releases new collection of his NFTs - $99 trading cards

Adding another layer to his ongoing NFT venture, the 78-year-old recently launched a new collection featuring a variety of incentives for new collectors. This fourth series, dubbed ‘The America First Collection,’ continues the trend of depicting Trump in various exaggerated roles, including holding a Bitcoin ball, as a boxer, in an Iron Man-style action hero avatar, and riding a motorcycle. In a video posted on his Truth Social app, he announced the release of this new collection.

Priced at $99 each, the cards offer more than just digital art, reports The Telegraph. For instance, those who purchase 15 or more cards will receive a physical trading card containing a piece of the suit Trump wore during a presidential debate with Joe Biden. Calling it the ‘knock-out’ suit, he said:

We’ll cut up the knockout suit, and you’re going to get a piece of it and we’ll be randomly autographing five of them, a true collector’s item, this is something to give your family, your kids, your grandchildren.

This isn’t the first time he’s offered to sell parts of his suit. He sold cuts of a blue suit he wore when he was arrested last year.

What’s more? In a bid to entice larger purchases, Trump has introduced exclusive rewards for high-tier buyers. Anyone purchasing 75 cards (costing $7,425) will be invited to a gala dinner with Trump at his country club in Jupiter, Florida. Highlighting the ‘great things’ he’s doing for his card collectors, Trump said in the video:

You know, they call me the crypto-president, I don’t know if that’s true or not, but a lot of people are saying that.

These digital collectibles have become a significant part of his political strategy, raising millions of dollars that reportedly fund his re-election campaign.

Trump’s card causes outrage as people slam him for ‘unnecessary’ release

However, the former president’s release is being severely mocked online. Many people have labeled the venture as a desperate attempt to raise funds, particularly given the hefty $99 price tag for each card. Critics have mocked these designs, questioning their value and authenticity, and some have accused him of exploiting his supporters, reports The Independent.

Taking money from the poorest, least financially intelligent people on the planet should be a crime. This is worse than jpg monkeys.

Another two added:

“You can get a piece of Trump’s suit.” Desperate for cash, Trump is back to selling digital trading cards.
Trump supporters are dumb liars. They lie and think we are dumb enough to believe their lies. They have $100 to throw in the garbage for a worthless useless card but not to eat.

A fourth said:

Does Donald Trump ever stop grifting off of his supporters? He’s pushing those worthless trading cards again.

While another Xuser commented:

The vast majority of Trump supporters are NOT buying these cards.
