Donald Trump has a well-documented history of making personal and often unpleasant remarks about his political opponents—especially women. Throughout his career, Trump has consistently used derogatory language to belittle women, questioning their appearance, intelligence, and capabilities.

After his recent comment on Kamala Harris’s Time magazine cover, a member of his party suggested he may not win the election if he continues with this strategy. This isn’t the first time he has made crude remarks about a female opponent. In 2016, he called Hillary Clinton a ‘nasty woman’ and suggested that she lacked the stamina for the presidency.

Trump criticized over his reshare of a crude remark about Kamala Harris

In recent weeks, Trump—who thought Harris would be easier to beat—has intensified his personal attacks on his presidential opponent, resorting to remarks that have drawn widespread criticism for their crudeness and sexism. In his latest move, he took to his Truth Social app and reshared an outrageous post from his supporters, reports The Independent.

The offensive post featured Harris and Clinton pictured side by side with the caption:

Funny how bl*wj*bs impacted both their careers differently…

The sexist attack is a not-so-subtle reference to Harris once dating former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. In Clinton’s case, it referred to her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky in the 1990s, writes Reuters.

After the post was reshared, Shannon Watts, the founder of the gun safety group Moms Demand Action, posted on X:

Donald Trump reposted this. Is this really who you want making decisions about women’s freedoms and safety?

CNN’s Pamela Brown also spoke out and said it made her 'stomach feel sick,' reports Mediaite. Discussing the comment with CNN commentator and New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, she said:

Trump, for his part, went on a reposting spree today, as I know you’ve seen, Maggie, including one that kind of makes my stomach feel sick.
It involves both Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris with a crude sexual reference that suggested that Harris used sexual favors to advance her career.

Haberman replied that Trump has been ‘trying to bait Kamala Harris and her supporters into a fight about race, a fight about gender’ while they ignore his attempts. Meanwhile, Harris' campaign responded by saying that Trump is 'out of his mind' and Harris is ‘getting under his skin.’

Donald Trump’s history of crude remarks on Kamala Harris

Such comments on Harris and Clinton are not new to either woman. Last week, he used his ‘nasty woman’ comment about Clinton and directed it at Harris when he called her a ‘nasty person.’

The New York Times reports that Harris is often addressed as a ‘b**ch’ behind closed doors by Trump. In another interview last month, he predicted that if Harris were to win the election, world leaders would walk all over her. He said:

She’ll be like a play toy. They look at her and they say, ‘We can’t believe we got so lucky.’ They’re going to walk all over her.

That's not all. In 2016, he was seen bragging in a video about being able to ‘grab ‘em by the p*ssy.’ Moreover, many women have, over the years, accused him of sexual misconduct, including former Elle columnist E. Jean Carroll. More recently, he went on trial for the Stormy Daniels hush money case—a former porn star he had an affair with while his wife, Melania Trump, was pregnant with Barron Trump.

Meanwhile, his running mate JD Vance has called Harris a ‘childless cat lady’ with no ‘direct stake’ in America’s future.
