Prince George and Princess Charlotte previously went to Thomas' Battersea, close to their home at Kensington Palace.
New school
The Cambridge kids will be starting school on September 8 and will go to Lambrook School, which is close to their new home. According to HELLO magazine, the private school for both boys and girls has an excellent rating by Ofsted.
It educates students from the age of 3 to 13 and currently has 610 pupils at the Church of England school. According to The Good Schools Guide, an education portal, the tuition fee ranges from £13,167 to £20,997 per year for day students. Whereas students that board pay around £25,440. This could be how much Prince William and Kate Middleton are paying for each other their children's tuition.
The school has a lot of subject options for the Royal Family kids, these include English, Maths, French, Science, Greek, History, Geography, ICT, Art, Design & Technology, Drama, Music, RS, PE, Swimming and Games. What’s more interesting is that after the age of 5, Latin becomes compulsory for every student and school becomes 6 days a week, that is, Saturday school is a thing.
Who else went to Lambrook?
The Cambridge kids will be joining the new school soon, however, they are not the only Royal Family kids who would go to Lambrook school. HELLO magazine reports that back in the 1870s, two of Queen Victoria’s grandsons—Prince Christian Victor and Prince Albert of Schleswig-Holstein— went to the same school.
It is also believed that Queen Victoria also turned up to watch their cricket matches in the Berkshire countryside.
