2020 hasn't been a fun year for anyone, and Queen Elizabeth is certainly no exception. Between Harry and Meghan deciding to abandon their royal duties and coronavirus pandemic, it's safe to say Buckingham Palace has known better days. Well, here's one more piece of news to sour their day: someone's been stealing from them.

Earlier this month, the Daily Mail announced that Buckingham Palace has been the victim of theft, and the thief in question isn’t just anyone. It appears that the criminal is none other than an employee who had been working quite close to the Queen.
To be more specific, a 37-year-old hospitality assistant who had been working at the palace for six years. What was taken? Handcrafted stationary, bespoke frames with Prince Harry’s badge, engraved glasses and even the Order of the Bath medal which were all later found for sale on eBay.
Yes, the man who had been stealing from the Queen had then been making money by selling the items on the internet. Not very smart, that one.
He was arrested on August 7 before being released on bail. On social media, the culprit boasted about having been invited to Meghan and Harry’s wedding and didn’t hesitate to reveal information about the royal family to his friends and family.
