The traditional balcony appearance
As some of you may know, it is tradition for members of the Royal Family to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the flypast. This year, the Queen decided to limit the number of members on the balcony to working Royals only.
From left to right the members on the balcony were:
- Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, Brigitte, Duchess of Gloucester
- Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy
- Prince Edward, Duke of Kent
- Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, Anne, Princess Royal
- Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Charles, Prince of Wales
- The Queen
- Prince Louis of Cambridge, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, Prince George of Cambridge, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge
- Sophie, Countess of Wessex, James, Viscount Severn, Lady Louise Windsor, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex
Little Prince Louis stole the show with the adorable grimaces he pulled during the flypast.
Some of the members rode in the carriages for the procession.
