It is usually rare to be able to meet members of the Royal family in person, which is why we go back to looking at them through photographs. Although they allow us to know what the royals look like, they often show a misguided representation. Indeed, most of us have no idea how tall Prince Edward is, for example.

Well, keep reading to find out exactly how tall your favourite members are, especially compared to the Queen's height.
The tallest members are Prince William and Prince Harry
Prince William
Prince William is the tallest member of the Royal Family, towering over the others at 6 ft 3 in (192 cm). He will be the tallest King in the United Kingdom, in more than 300 years. The tallest King ever so far was King Edward IV, who was 6'5'' (198 cm), even going up to 6'7'' (204 cm) when he wore his armour. However, Prince William's eldest son, Prince George, seems to grow up fast, and he is almost reaching his mother's height. Could he be the next tallest King?
Prince Harry
The second tallest member of the Royal family is Prince Harry. Indeed, the former senior member of the Firm, who left his role back in 2020, is 6'2'' (188 cm).
Prince Edward & Prince Andrew
The next member of the Firm that is more than 6 feet tall may surprise you. Despite his thin stature, Prince Edward is actually taller than many of the people in his family—including his older brother King Charles.
He is said to be 6'0'' (182 cm). Prince Andrew is also the same height.
King Charles
Unlike his very tall sons, King Charles remains at the same height as his ex-wife, the late Princess Diana, whose family remains close to Princes William and Harry. The monarch is reportedly 5'10'' (177 cm).
The heights of the women in the Royal Family
Princess Kate
While most women in the Royal family are quite short, there are a few that are very tall. Such is the case of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, who is the tallest woman in the Firm. Indeed, she is 5'9'' (179 cm), just four inches shorter than her husband, Prince William. Their children are expected to be very tall when they grow up.
Queen Camilla
Another woman is close to Kate Middleton's height, and it is quite surprising. Indeed, Queen Camilla is 5'8'' (176 cm), only two inches shorter than her husband, King Charles.
The York women
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, is also on the tall side of the family, unlike her daughters Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Prince Andrew's ex-wife, who has been dealing with health issues in the past year, is the same height as the Queen Consort, 5'8'' (176 cm).
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are almost the same height. Princess Beatrice is 5'3'' (161 cm). Her younger sister, Princess Eugenie, is 5'5'' (167 cm).
Meghan Markle & Princess Anne
Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, and the King's sister, Princess Anne, are both shorter. Indeed, they are 5'6''.
The shortest member of the Royal Family remains Queen Elizabeth
The shortest member of the Royal family is, strangely enough, Queen Elizabeth II. Indeed, while her reign was grand, the late Queen was only 5'2'' (158 cm). She was much shorter than her husband, Prince Philip, who was 6'0'' (182 cm).
