Always the same breakfast
According to Marca, the Duchess of Cambridge eats the same thing for breakfast every morning:a bowl of oatmeal and a smoothie.
Oatmeal is heavy in protein, carbs, and fibre, which per The Mirror, has many health benefits, including weight loss, lower blood sugar levels, and a reduced risk of heart disease.
Kate Middleton's breakfast smoothie incorporates nutrient-dense foods such as kale, spinach, and spirulina. According to the publication, they are rumoured to be among the Princess’ favourites.
According to Forbes, spirulina is often considered a superfood, which has been marketed as a supplement since the 1970s. Research suggests that spirulina has many health benefits. It can help with reducing cholesterol, thus reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. It can also help to lower blood pressure, and promote a healthy digestive system, to name a few health benefits.
Healthy food habits
Princess Kate’s healthy diet doesn’t stop there. She is rumoured to indulge in watermelon salads with avocado, cucumber, and feta.
Avocados are also considered a ‘superfood’. According to Health, they are full of anti-ageing and disease-fighting antioxidants. On top of this, they are packed with close to 20 different vitamins and minerals.
Other dishes the Princess of Wales is rumoured to enjoy are tabbouleh salad and ceviche, a Peruvian seafood dish. Lentil curry and soups are also a big hit for the Princess.
With a schedule as hectic as a senior working Royal, the Princess of Wales isn’t afraid to snack between meals either. According to Marca, Princess Kate enjoys goji berries, raw fruit, and vegetables, all of which encourage healthy hair growth.
Not afraid to sweat
Despite the Royal’s busy schedule, Princess Kate makes time to include physical activities. Marca claims the Princess enjoys jogging, spinning, yoga, weightlifting, and HIIT. Mail Onlinereported that Kate also does regular plank exercises and can ‘hold for 45 seconds or longer’ and does sets of 10.
Mail Online quoted a royal insider on the topic of Princess Kate’s figure:
Kate is an exercise junkie. Pippa and Kate take their toned physiques extremely seriously.
