A mother who never gives in
Although this period has pushed several parents into allowing their children to sit in front of the television for hours on end, Kate Middleton isn’t one of them. She has revealed just how opposed she is to her children using screens all the time and refuses to let them sit in front of them and become zombies.
According to Gala magazine, Katie Nicholl, an expert on the royal family, told the Daily Mail that Prince William’s wife is very strict when it comes to screens and 'the children aren’t allowed their own devices.’
Convinced that screens aren’t a good idea for the upbringing of her children, Kate Middleton is very active as a mother and encourages them to do creative and sports activities instead. The royal family expert added:
The emphasis during this time will be on arts and crafts, painting and doing things that aren’t screen-orientated.
Aware that they are privileged during this strange, unexpected time, the 38-year-old mother believes that there are lots of things that they can do at home and can’t justify her children spending lots of time in front of screens:
They've got climbing frames, swings and a pond, and each of the children are in charge of their own little patch of the kitchen garden.
