Kate Middleton shares a sweet picture
On 18 December, hours before her Christmas Carol Service aired, royal fans were given an early Christmas gift: a new picture of Kate Middleton. To top it all, the picture is of the Princess as a child in 1983.
The caption reads:
Sharing some festive memories this Christmas because #ShapingUs is all about the vital importance of our early years and the role played by those around us in shaping the rest of our lives.
Under it, most of the comments are shocked at how much Kate Middleton and her son Prince Louis look alike.
You're absolutely lying, this is Louis 😭👌🏽
That's literally Prince Louis if he was a girl 😍
Catherine was so cute, Louis is literally her twin waww🫶🏻
Kate Middleton’s Early Years Initiative
In June 2021, the Princess of Wales launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. On the Waleses' website the initiative is described as:
The newly launched Centre will drive awareness of and action on the extraordinary impact of the early years, in order to transform society for generations to come
Part of this means that throughout the year the Princess visits schools and other areas where Early Years work is done. Just earlier this month, the Princess of Wales released a video of her and her three children at a baby bank choosing and wrapping gifts.
This is a cause that is very dear to the Princess. In January 2023, she launched Shaping Us, which the new photo falls into. This is an initiative that works towards raising ‘awareness of the unique importance of early childhood and how it shapes the rest of our lives’. This is work that is aimed to impact the UK for generations.
