Not a gift
In her attempt to give her children a normal upbringing despite one of them being destined to be the future king, Kate once tried to learn a new skill and make a present for Prince George. The story goes back to the time of her first pregnancy.
Kate has always had an artistic side, however, when she tried to learn to knit and make a sweater for Prince George, she made a complete mess. She met with a few Royal fans in Glasgow and confessed:
I've been trying to knit and I'm really bad. I should be asking for tips!
Mirror confirms that during her 2020 trip to Bradford, she met with some grandmothers who were showing off their crocheting skills. It was during this visit to the Older Yet Wiser organisation that she confessed about her failed attempt to make a jumper for Prince George. She said:
I tried knitting when I first had George. I tried to knit him a very special jumper, but I got halfway down and it splattered. It's such an amazing skill.
However perfect she may seem as a mother; Kate Middleton never fails to show that she’s just as ordinary as any other mother in the world.
Family time
Currently, the Prince and Princess of Wales are spending time with her family as their three kids have a 2-week half-term holiday from school. It’s a tradition with Kate and William to not make any public engagements during their kids’ holiday and spend family time together instead.
