November 11th was Remembrance Day, a symbolic day on which the Commonwealth countries pay tribute to fallen soldiers. On this occasion, several events followed one another starting from the beginning of the weekend.
On Saturday, November 9th all members of the Royal Family were gathered at the 96th edition of the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Dressed in black and red, the Queen was surrounded by her son Prince Charles and her grandchildren Prince William and Harry and their wives.
For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a black knee-length dress, as well as a pair of black pumps and had accessorised her hair with a headband. This is one of the key trends of the moment. From Fashion Week parades to red carpets at media events, all the stars have adopted it.
Despite this fashionable accessory, the Duchess of Cambridge's outfit was relatively sober and in keeping with the theme of the day.
An element that makes a difference
Forced to comply with the protocols imposed by her status, Kate Middleton broke a key rule with her look. George, Charlotte and Louis' mother appeared wearing opaque black tights. Since these are forbidden, she should have opted for flesh-coloured tights.
