Kate Middleton: You may have missed this detail while distracted by her injured fingers

The Royals have been going back to their duties after the summer holidays and marking Queen Elizabeth's very first death anniversary, and Kate Middleton's most recent appearance has been the talk of the town.

On Tuesday 12 September, Kate Middleton visited the HMP High Down prison in Surrey, where she spent the morning learning about the prison and how charity Forward Trust supports inmates who are struggling with addiction.

Kate Middleton is the patron of the Forward Trust charity, who not only helps inmates, but also their families, to deal with the consequences of addiction.

After the visit was over, Kate Middleton said it was 'incredibly inspirational', while the governer of High Down said, as quoted by Hello!:

She's very natural and clearly genuinely interested which I think is really important… I think prison visits, it's an interesting place, because not an awful lot is known about prisons.

It's really nice to get some positive press and for her to see some of the good work [we're] trying to achieve.

Although her visit to the prison did get attention for the purpose that it was intended for, there was another detail that had the media and royal fans buzzing.

Kate Middleton's injured fingers

If you saw the pictures from her visit, you may have seen that the Princess had a bandage wrapped around her two fingers.

Given how much media attention is on the Princess, it's hard to miss little details like this - especially when it has to do with beloved royals having injuries.

Luckily, a spokesperson for Kate Middleton cleared up any chance of speculation and said that it was a 'small injury' that she got from playing on the trampoline with her children.

However, while everyone was busy focusing on her injured fingers, there was another change in the Princess that not many noticed.

Kate Middleton's post-summer makeover

Many enter the back to school season with a nice tan, new clothes, or a new hairstyle - and Kate Middleton was certainly one of those people.

She resumed her royal duties with a brand new hairstyle, and she looks amazing! She finally gave into the 2023 trend of getting curtain bangs and it certainly does switch things up.
