Prince George gets an invitation
Being the Royals, it’s not unusual for the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge to receive thousands of letters from fans and supporters every day. So naturally, they are in no capacity to answer each and every one of them. Hence this mother got the surprise of her life when she found a royal inscribed letter on her doorstep.
As per Mirror, the mother revealed that a few months prior, her daughter had turned six years old. The little girl had written a letter to Prince George, inviting him to her birthday party. However, they had not got a response at that moment.
Kate Middleton’s endearing response
The delighted mum shared the letter on her Twitter, according to Express. The letter read:
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have asked me to thank you for your letter, in which you invite Prince George to your 6th Birthday party. I am sorry that it took so long to reply. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were immensely touched that you should take the trouble to write as you did to their son, Prince George.
Their Royal Highnesses were extremely grateful for your kind invitation. Having given careful consideration to the possibilities, however, I very much regret that Their Royal Highnesses reluctantly feel they have to decline. Nevertheless, I hope that you enjoyed your birthday
The mum also stated that their response was delightful and would be ‘Something amazing for her (daughter) to keep’.
