Representatives for the star asked for tickets but the Palace turned the American couple down, as did publicists at the BBC, which will broadcast the show.
Determined to attend even if 'not VIP'
Kim apparently wants to attend the event so badly that an unknown source told Mail Online she is attempting to obtain tickets via other means — and has even said she doesn't care if the tickets are 'not VIP'. The source said:
Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn't visit the UK often. Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration.
Up to 10,000 tickets to the event were allocated via a public ballot, with a further 7,500 given to key workers, those in the Armed Forces, volunteers, and charities.
The 41-year-old Skims founder landed in the UK with her 28-year-old comedian boyfriend this week. It's unclear whether the Jubilee celebrations were the sole reason for their trip to London.
Engagement rumours
The couple have been spotted at London's Dover Street Market, Comme des Garçons Jewellery, and River Café. The fact that they were jewellery shopping has sparked rumours of a potential engagement, as reported by The Mirror.
The trip to the UK comes after the pair attended Kourtney Kardashian's wedding to Travis Barker in Italy.
