King Charles’ relationship with Prince Harry has become increasingly strained over recent years. The tensions escalated significantly following Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step down as senior royals in 2020 and move out of the UK. Since then, the Sussex couple have released a series of media about the challenges of being part of the Royal Family—from their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview to their Netflix documentary.

Prince William was also on the receiving end of many allegations made by Harry, and their famous feud is expected to worsen due to an upcoming inheritance. Despite all of this, Harry has always been understood to want a reconciliation with the family—but he may not be the only one.
King Charles ‘has faith’ reconciliation may be on the cards for his family
A source has claimed that the monarch is ‘seeking advice’ from several religious leaders and has faith that Harry will return home. According to The Express, the monarch—who previously sought advice from a Greek monk—is planning to extend an olive branch to his second son after a period of introspection and spiritual counselling from religious leaders.
A well-placed source told MailOnline that the monarch has found a newfound sense of ‘spiritual nourishment’ and a willingness to mend the fractured relationship with his youngest son. The source said:
Charles misses his son. He still loves Harry and wants him back for personal reasons – regardless that he and Meghan do not [want to] return to royal life. Harry will always be Charles's much-loved son.
He has faith that Harry could return. He misses the bond they once had, and the door will always remain open to him and his family. He does not want years of discord and disharmony clouding his reign.
King Charles and spirituality: The importance of religion and faith in his life
Charles, like his mother, places significant emphasis on spirituality, seeing it as an integral part of his reign. His spiritual beliefs are deeply rooted in the Christian faith, and he has maintained this since his early years. After his accession, he has spent more time exploring theology and the nature of forgiveness.
The 75-year-old is now considering the Christian act of forgiveness to improve his relationship with Harry—something that could possibly mend the feud between the two brothers as well, reports The Standard.
The source explained:
Faith has always been a part of Charles’s life and something he’s explored, but since becoming King it is playing a more central role.
That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being King.
This faith in spirituality and his beliefs was also put into focus during his coronation. Despite the ceremony being ‘first and foremost an act of Christian worship,’ Charles suggested he would be the defender of all faiths in an attempt to show Britain’s religious diversity, writes The Guardian.
