A video of Truss curtsying before shaking hands with King Charles was posted on Twitter. The clip also shows a few pictures that are on display in the room where the meeting took place.
One of the three photos put on the table beside Truss is reportedly a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their wedding day. Eagle-eyed Royal fans spotted that it’s a family picture and features King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla alongside Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince William and Kate Middleton, reports The Sun.
The photo has Prince Harry and Meghan taking centre stage while the rest of the family gathers around them along with their bridesmaids and page boys including Princess Charlotte and Prince George.
What does the photo mean?
The photo comes amidst the ongoing rift between the Sussexes and The Firm. However, it can be seen as a sweet tribute from King Charles to Prince Harry and Meghan. According to recent reports, both – King Charles and the Sussex couple – have been trying to reconcile their family relations.
This includes the Sussexes postponing their media projects and altering details to make them less harmful to the monarch. Meanwhile, the Royals are still bracing themselves for Prince Harry’s memoir.
