King Charles has made many changes since becoming the reigning Monarch, and Easter is no exception. He will be changing tradition and one Royal Family member may be given a new role.

King Charles breaking tradition again

Easter was one of the late Queen’s favourite holidays as she was a woman of faith. As such, royal expert, Ingrid Seward, believes a special tribute will be given to Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip during the private ceremony in the chapel at Windsor.

Ingrid told The Sun:

Probably some special prayers in the private chapel within the castle just for the family and immediate household

Adding:

There will also be a mention during the Easter service at St. George’s Chapel for both the Queen and Philip.

The tradition that the late Queen uphold was that the younger children could not eat at the table with the others. According to Ingrid:

The Queen always said until they could hold a knife and fork properly they could not eat at the table, but Charles might have relaxed that rule a bit.

King Charles to give a new role

According to Ingrid Seward, Princess Kate may be asked to help organise some of the activities for the children.

Kate is a great organiser and will almost certainly organise an Easter egg hunt – they can also go to the royal mews and see the horses there and there is an indoor pool for swimming and ponies for them to ride.

In the past, Princess Kate has always been good with the children in the firm, so it seems fitting that she helps organise some fun activities for the youngest members. There is a high chance that this Easter will be a grand family affair, with all members joining, except Prince Harry and Meghan, meaning lots of youngsters will be at Windsor for the weekend.
