Some members of the Royal Family lead a more regular life. Among them are Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, who have ‘normal’ jobs. Moreover, Princess Anne’s children, Zara and Peter don’t have the same responsibilities as their cousin Prince William.

Prince Edward and Sophie have also been heavily praised for choosing not to give their children, Louise and James, titles as they would likely have to get jobs once they are older. Not being known as Prince or Princess certainly changes things for the young royals, and may even have allowed Lady Louise to have a typical college experience.

Indeed, Lady Louise started studying at St Andrew’s University in 2022, famously where Prince William met and fell in love with Princess Kate in the early 2000s, and the latest reports indicate that she's enjoying regular university life like any student. In fact, she may even be following in the footsteps of her cousin, Prince William, who found the love of his life on the same college campus.

Lady Louise is close with Felix da Silva Clamp

As mentioned above, Lady Louise, who turned 21 on November 8, is currently studying at St Andrew’s University in Scotland. According to reports, she has been seen getting close to fellow student, Felix da Silva Clamp.

As per Express, Lady Louise and Felix were seen together at a fundraiser for the university’s drama society. They were reportedly seen hugging and taking selfies at the event. The young royal and Felix were photographed with their arms around each other.

The young students were also seen at the Sandringham Horse Driving Trials in Norfolk, where Felix was seemingly supporting his friend.

So far, not much is known about Felix da Silva Clamp. According to reports, he was born on August 6, 2004, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. He reportedly works at a local ice cream parlour while carrying out his studies.

His father, Jonathan is reportedly a solicitor and was selected to be the Tory candidate for Lewisham East in 2008. His mother, Kendall is said to live in Melbourne, Australia, where Felix attended the Melbourne Grammar School from 2017 to 2022.

His mother has a master's degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She has allegedly been a member of the WHO Mental Health Gap Action Programme since 2007.

Lady Louise has not confirmed or denied the rumours of her relationship, but many royal fans are fawning adoration over their possible match.

A look into Lady Louise’s university life

Her reported romance with Felix da Silva Clamp is not the only ordinary part of her university life. As reported by The Telegraph, Lady Louise, who is currently studying English literature, is very involved on campus.

An acquaintance of the young royal revealed that she is working alongside her studies in the school canteen and often takes part in the university’s theatre productions. As per The Telegraph, Felix da Silva Clamp also took part in the production.

She works a student job during the week, in the canteen, and she takes part in a lot of student theatre productions – she was in the chorus for a play called Dragon Fever, she was really good. The theatre isn’t massive, so it shows quite a lot of dedication that she’s part of it.

As per Lady Louise’s fellow student, she has taken really well to life up in Scotland:

She finds Scottish dancing really fun. The reeling balls are lovely – everyone always wants to be her partner because she’s a really good dancer. She does a lot with the cadet force as well.

They also added that she is ‘really grounded’ and you ‘wouldn’t know at all’ that she was royalty.

She’s really grounded, whenever I see her she’s wearing understated clothes – you literally wouldn’t know at all that she’s a member of the royal family.
