Lady Louise: Royal expert believes she could be key in helping King Charles and monarchy

The British Royal Family released the official working Royal portrait last week. While the grandeur of the portrait left many people in awe, some people, including Royal experts were left wondering about the future of the monarchy and doubting it. 7 out of the 11 working Royals of the Firm are over the age of 70 - including the King and the Queen.

Royal Central’s editor-in-chief, Charlie Proctor, highlighted the issue and offered a solution as well. Here’s who could solve the ‘impending crisis’ for the Royal Family.

Lady Louise: The great rescuer for the Royal Family?

According to Charlie, Lady Louise Mountbatten Windsor, would make a great addition to the working Royals group and bring in ‘much-needed’ new blood. Charlie warned that, the Royals that despite being ‘admirable’ these working Royals cannot ‘carry on forever.’

As such the Royal Family stands at the crossroads of a crisis that many working Royals are old. This would impact many charities ‘that rely on royal patronages and the support it brings, Princess Anne cannot hold the fort forever.’

Thus, Charlie suggested bringing some ‘some younger royals on board’ until the Wales kids - Prince George, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte - are young enough to be working Royals. Amongst ‘divided’ opinions on social media for Charlie’s idea, one Royal fan said on Twitter:

Couldn’t agree more. I’m hoping when Lady Louise had graduated that she might become a working Royal. As the Duke & Duchess of Edinburgh are between The King and POW in ages, so is Lady Louise between the POW and Prince George. She could help all 3 generations superbly! 🤞💋

Why Lady Louise will be a perfect solution to the Royal Family’s ‘crisis’?

Charlie’s suggestion of making Lady Louise a working Royal is a temporary measure. However, he believes it makes perfect sense to delegate Royal duties to the eldest child of the Earl & Countess of Wessex. He explained in his blog:

Nobody has a bad word to say about the 19-year-old, who has a high popularity rating despite her low public profile.

Empathetic, scandal-free and popular, Lady Louise would be the perfect person to take up royal duties, assisting with the workload.

However, whether Lady Louise will take on the working Royal role is entirely up to her, Charlie added:

She has purposely kept a low public profile, having been well protected from the public eye from her parents, Edward & Sophie.
